Green family shares experience at Life Care Center of McMinnville

Associates at skilled nursing and rehab facilities love to see the results of their work as patients regain function under their care.

Every now and then, a family shares a letter thanking them for their assistance, and such was the case for the Green family. Laura Green shared this letter with the staff at Life Care Center of McMinnville, Oregon.

Dear Life Care:

On Jan. 26, [2018,] my husband, Martin Green, checked in with a broken hip, beautifully replaced by our friends at Willamette Hospital… but also with a broken spirit. He was bedridden, in terrible pain …, unable to do anything much except feel lousy.

Being 84 with a funky hip is no fun! But your amazing staff of therapists, nurses, nutritionists, certified nursing assistants, laundry wizards and front desk divines worked their wonderful magic, and Martin is back on his size 14 feet.

His wry and loving spirit restored, he is back home with his four dogs, two grumpy cats and his very grateful wife.

Thank you for bringing my love back home to us!
